Amanda's Enchanting Events

This week I find myself in beautiful Manhattan Beach, enjoying the LA sunsine. I am out here for a conference, but I was fortunate enough to be able to fly in a day early and have lunch with six amazing ladies (and one amazing gentleman)! And as we were enjoying our lunch at the world-famous Ivy restaurant, I realized that, as busy as we are, we all need time to relax, catch our breath, and enjoy life.

Of course, we talked some business, but it was nice to feel unrushed and truly enjoy the company of those I was with. AND I CHALLENGE YOU TO DO THE SAME.

Think about it -- when was the last time you just took a few minutes to sit with your fiance or your bridesmaids and NOT TALK ABOUT THE WEDDING!?!?!? With such hectic lives, we all feel that there is no time to spare. But, as they say, it is the journey as much as the destination.

So grab the girls (or the special guy), and hit the town, cactch a movie, or cuddle up on the couch! Try it; I promise you'll like it! And you'll come back fresh and energized -- and we all could use some of that!

I recently came across some wonderful bridesmaids' dresses from designer Jessica Ciarla and CIARLAbride. The designer had created some couture bridesmaids' dresses for a friend's wedding and, viola!, the next thing you know the line was born.
