Amanda's
Enchanting Events was founded in 2004. We are committed to creating events that are raved about for years to come. We offer corporate, social, and bridal choreography.
Specializing in weddings, we are dedicated to giving every bridal client a unique wedding experience that truly reflects them and their union. Our goal is to make your wedding day as wonderful and effortless as you would like for it to be. Our passion and love for what we do brings magic to all of our events and makes them truly enchanting. Amanda Hughes, Professional Bridal Consultant, grew up around the weddings business. Her grandmothers, aunt, and mother have all been involved in seamstressing and formal wear, catering, and wedding and event planning. With all that in her genes, you can guess that she has always spent time helping friends and family with their events -- her senior year of high school was spent helping to plan Dawn's wedding (and hand-bead what seemed like miles of lace!).
After graduating from the University of North Alabama with a double major in business management & entrepreneurship and communications & theatre, she moved back to Huntsville and went to work in a decidedly non-enchanting job! However, she still continued to work with weddings, and in 2004 decided to formally become a professional wedding planner. Both her business and theatrical design training have proved invaluable in ccreating and producing amazing events.
Amanda is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. She has earned the designation of Professional Bridal Consultant, having graduated from their Professional Development Program with honors as a distinguished graduate -- one of few in Alabama. This membership also provides continuing training and educational experiences as well as ethical standards. She is also the co-director of the North Alabama Wedding Professionals ABC LNG.

Dawn DeBacker, assistant event planner, is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville in the field of marketing. She is the sister of Amanda and has extensive knowledge of weddings (having also grown up around the weddings business!). Her trips to the Dallas Market and summers spent working with her grandmother have given her a unique knowledge of the wide, wide world of weddings.
A graduate of the University of Alabama Huntsville, she has worked extensively in marketing, office management, and customer service. Dawn is also a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, and directed Amanda's wedding!
